The Christmas Workshop Experience. New for 2018!

You will arrive at the train station for 3pm (prompt) where after showing the letter that Father Christmas sent you, you will be invited to climb aboard The Bicton Woodland Railway, as you listen to Christmas music and sing along you will arrive at Workshop Station, the Elves will guide you on the short walk to The Christmas workshop, hopefully Father Christmas will be busy making toys and not asleep by his woodburning stove, it gets very warm in his workshop (but you should wrap up warm yourselves as you have to depart in the chilly night air).

You will hear banging and music as you approach his workshop, on entering his workshop he will have jobs for you to do, making reindeer food, wrapping presents and icing biscuits.

Father Christmas will then ask you to be seated and will read to you ‘twas a night before Christmas.

He will then ask you to come up to his chair and give you a gift that he has chosen just for you, at this point a photograph may be taken, although there will be another opportunity to take photographs.

When everyone has received their gift, Father Christmas would like you all to join him in singing a song, his favourite, is “Rudolph the red nosed reindeer”, don’t worry if you don’t know the words the Elves will help you out with that.

Father Christmas will then advise you the best way to use your reindeer dust to guide him and what you should leave out for him on Christmas Eve to help him through the night

The Elves and Father Christmas will walk you back to “Workshop Station” and wave you off as you head homewards.
