With more dates to be announced the Hermitage Open Day provides a rare opportunity to view inside our Hermitage Summerhouse which is an outstanding example of 19th century rural craftsmanship. Its walls are clad with thousands of ‘fish-scale’ wooden shingles, and a floor consisting entirely of deer bones, pushed into the earth with their ‘knuckle’ ends uppermost. Fragments of stained glass from the original church at Bicton were used for the interior windows and the walls are lined with wickerwork.
We also take Tesco Days Out Vouchers at reception
WE ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR OUR ANNUAL 2 WEEK CLOSURE TO GIVE OUR TEAM A WELL EARNED BREAK AND TO COMPLETE OUR FULL REFURBISHINHMENT OF THE SOFT PLAY AREA. THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU BACK ON TUESDAY JANUARY 21ST 2025.
